Summit Firearms LLC is committed to providing quality products and customer service. Due to the nature of firearm-related products, all sales, returns, refunds, cancellations, and exchanges are subject to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

By purchasing products from Summit Firearms LLC, you agree to the terms contained in this policy.

All Sales Subject to Compliance Review

All orders placed through Summit Firearms LLC are subject to review for:

  • Federal firearm law compliance

  • State and local restrictions

  • Fraud prevention verification

  • Inventory availability

  • Payment authorization

  • FFL transfer eligibility

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our sole discretion before shipment or transfer completion.

Firearm Sales

Firearms Are Non-Returnable After Transfer

Once a firearm has been transferred to the purchaser by the receiving Federal Firearms License (“FFL”) dealer, the sale is considered final and the firearm cannot be returned or refunded except where required by law.

Customers are responsible for inspecting the firearm at the receiving FFL dealer prior to completing the transfer paperwork.

If the firearm is transferred to the customer and later found to have cosmetic concerns, buyer’s remorse, compatibility issues, or other non-defect concerns, Summit Firearms LLC will not issue a refund or exchange.

Refused or Denied Transfers

If a customer:

  • Fails a background check

  • Is denied transfer by the FFL dealer

  • Refuses the transfer

  • Does not complete required paperwork

  • Fails to pick up the firearm

  • Provides inaccurate information

the order may be canceled and subject to:

  • Restocking fees

  • Return shipping fees

  • Processing fees

  • Non-refundable original shipping charges

Refund amounts may be reduced accordingly.

Ammunition Sales

For safety reasons, all ammunition sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on ammunition except in cases where the product was damaged during shipment or incorrectly shipped by Summit Firearms LLC.

Accessories & Non-Firearm Products

Accessories and non-firearm merchandise may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to approval.

Returned items must:

  • Be unused

  • Be in original packaging

  • Include all original components and documentation

  • Show no signs of installation, wear, or damage

Items returned in unacceptable condition may be refused or subject to partial refund reductions.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Customers must inspect all packages immediately upon delivery.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you must contact Summit Firearms LLC within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the product

  • Photos of packaging damage if applicable

  • Detailed description of the issue

Failure to report issues within the required timeframe may result in denial of the claim.

Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain products and may require direct coordination with the manufacturer.

Order Cancellations

Orders canceled before shipment may still be subject to:

  • Payment processing fees

  • Inventory restocking fees

  • Administrative fees

Once an order has shipped, it is considered processed and subject to the applicable return procedures outlined in this policy.

Custom orders, special orders, and distributor-direct shipments may not be cancelable once submitted.

Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable except in cases where Summit Firearms LLC made an error in the order fulfillment process.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping fees

  • Insurance on returned packages

  • Transfer fees charged by FFL dealers

  • Any carrier refusal or rerouting fees

Returned Packages

Packages returned due to:

  • Incorrect shipping information

  • Failure to receive delivery

  • Failure to coordinate with the FFL dealer

  • Refused delivery

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days after the returned product is received and inspected.

Refund timing may vary depending on:

  • Payment processor delays

  • Banking institution processing times

  • Product inspection requirements

  • Firearms compliance review

Refunds will typically be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are generally non-refundable:

  • Transferred firearms

  • Ammunition

  • Used products

  • Opened consumables

  • NFA items

  • Special order items

  • Clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • Products prohibited from return by law

Fraud Prevention

Summit Firearms LLC reserves the right to deny refunds, returns, or exchanges in cases involving suspected:

  • Fraud

  • Abuse of return policies

  • Unauthorized transactions

  • Illegal activity

  • Chargeback abuse

Chargebacks

Customers agree to contact Summit Firearms LLC first to attempt resolution before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:

  • Order cancellation

  • Permanent refusal of service

  • Collection activity

  • Legal action where appropriate

Policy Changes

Summit Firearms LLC reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions become effective immediately upon posting to the website.
