Specifically adapted for mobility and flexibility, the .300 BLK-caliber FN SCAR 15P builds on the FN SCAR heritage with an extremely compact design ideal for special response teams and SWAT. It is offered in the US as select-fire only with a non-reciprocating charging handle and telescoping buttstock. Existing users will know how to operate this rifle, minimizing training time. The overall length of the FN SCAR 15P SBR with a chrome-lined free-floating 7.5-inch barrel is 25 inches and does have a vertical rear Picatinny rail with a QD sling cup. The heart of the FN SCAR 15P SBR is the reliable short-stroke gas piston system that is at the heart of every SCAR. The pistol-length gas system isolates spent gases from the moving parts group, giving you more rounds fired without stoppages. The adjustable low-flash gas regulator and three-pronged muzzle device reduce muzzle flash and are especially appreciated in SBR configuration when firing repeated rounds down range. The FN SCAR 15P .300 BLK comes packaged in a discreet, soft-sided carry case color-matched to the SBR, which makes it easy to move from the home to the range and back.
