Transfers

We do accept FFL transfers.  We would encourage you to check our website for the product you are looking for first, then calling us to check if you do not find it, before ordering from another dealer. In doing so, you are supporting a LOCAL, FAMILY OWNED business, with people who live in your community. Allowing us to stay in business, transfer those hard to find items when needed, help with firearms related problems, etc.  Also, if you purchase your firearm from us, you avoid the transfer fee.

Please follow the guidelines below to make the transaction as smooth and easy as possible: 

  • We do not need notified of your in-coming transfer. (Even if whom you purchased it from tells you to call us.)  😉
  • ALL transfers must be shipped from an FFL dealer.  The charge is $25.00 per firearm, 15.00 each additional on same transfer. For a Class 3 item, the transfer fee is $150 per item. 
  • Please have the dealer you have purchased from contact us at: contact@summitfirearms.net to obtain a copy of our FFL.
  • We will contact YOU via the name & phone number on the supplied paperwork when your transfer arrives in our store AND is ready for pick up.  If you are tracking the shipment, PLEASE  do not call the store to inquire about the status of your order. You will simply delay the process. We process all shipments in accordance with federal regulations, in the order that they are received. We kindly ask you to give us at least 24 hours after we receive your transfer, for processing time and to contact you. THANK YOU for following this!!
  • Any firearm(s) left in our possession after 30 days (from date we process it in and call you) will incur a $40 per month storage fee, beginning one month from the date we receive it.  After 90 days, the firearm(s) will be considered abandoned and become property of Summit Firearms. without any compensation to the transferee.  Your item will not be shipped back to the original purchaser, nor transferred out to you, until all fees are paid.
  • PLEASE NOTE:  Having a firearm transferred in to us means you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
